Nixie Lam, Member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong Special Administration Region was graduated from the University of Queensland in and later completed her Executive Master degree at Tsinghua University for Public Administration. She was first elected as a member of the District Council in 2011 and has been actively involved with youth development matters aims to enhance collaboration and integration for Hong Kong youth with mainland and overseas youths thru exchange ,internships, and service programs . Lam has joined the 2014 Boao Forum as HK's young observers roundtable panelist speaker alongside with other Belt and Road country representatives. Lam is also a board member of the United Nations Association of China and has spoken in various United Nations Human Rights Council meetings to defence Hong Kong's situation amids discredits. Lam is also representative of the Chinese Youth Delegation celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia in 2014.
