Sonia Awale is Executive Editor at Nepali Times newspaper in Kathmandu, Nepal, where she is also the health, environment, and science correspondent. Aside from regular coverage, she reports and writes on climate, pollution, biodiversity, development and public health issues -- looking at their political and economic interlinkages. She is a graduate of public health and obtained her Masters in Journalism from the University of Hong Kong in 2016.
