Emil Chan is a FinTech evangelist, digital transformation consultant, startup mentor, EMBA adjunct professor, and columnist with extensive experience in cross-border financial system design and operations, ranging from the banking industry to emerging Web3 and DeFi business strategies.

In recent years, he has been dedicated to building a solid nurturing environment for the next-generation FinTech ecosystem in the Greater Bay Area. In addition to advising corporations and SMEs, he serves as a startup mentor and advisory board member of the Cyberport Startup Committee. He has also been a visiting professor, lecturer, and guest speaker at renowned universities such as CityU, HKU, PolyU, HKUST, HKBU, CUHK, and VTC for over 10 years.
