Mr. Vivek Pathak, Director, East Asia & the Pacific, International Finance Corporation said that global firms as well as Chinese firms would want a second base of manufacture; India has well positioned itself as that second manufacturing base.

Mr. Puneet Agrawal, Consul-General, Consulate General of India to Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR analyzed the frequent visit of China and India leaders, saying the leaders of the two countries (China and India) enjoy a clear understanding of a stable relationship.
Mr. Ashwani Goel, Head and General Manager, TATA South-East Asia said the world has been keeping an eye on China and India and comparing the two rising powers; but the key word (for the relationship between China and India) is “collaborate” rather than “compete”.
